He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Ahearn and Helen Ahearn (Galiada); his wife Virginia "Ginny" Ahearn (Pfromm); and his siblings, George, Jimmy, Caroline and Jacqueline.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cynthia Walsh and Robin Brosius; his grandchildren, T. J. Walsh (Laura) and Andrew Wolf; his great grandchild Alexa Walsh; and his grandchildren, Luna and Lyra Brosius.
