While his presence may be gone, his impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick A. Sam and Esther Ellis Sam. He is survived by: his wife Mary Funk Sam; and his sons, Erick J. Sam, JD-Ph and Gregory F. Sam. He is also survived by numerous cousins and nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Anthony/ St. George Maronite Catholic Church (311 Park Ave, Wilkes-Barre Township, PA 18702). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the St. George Maronite Catholic Church (311 Park Ave, Wilkes-Barre Township, PA 18702). A burial was held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the St. Mary's Cemetery.
