He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Boam, Jr. and Dorothy "Dottie" Boam (Schild). He is survived by: his wife Jean Boam (Newton); his sons, Christopher and Jeffrey (Gina Hopkins) of Old Forge; and his grandchildren, Colin of Savannah, GA, Gillian of Vienna, VA and Mina of Old Forge. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
