He was predeceased by: his parents, Blair Sr. Hooks and Kate Hooks; his sister Judy Hooks; and his in-laws, William and Madge Walter.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Hooks (Walter); his daughter Tracy Futscher; and his grandchildren, Alissa Atwood (Aaron), Jessa Reitler (Josh), Alexa Markle (Aaron) and Colton Futscher (Tina).
