It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eva J. Lasher (Kittanning, Pennsylvania), who passed away on April 27, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Dewey and Esther McAfoos; and her siblings, Patricia Henry and Ira McAfoos. She is survived by: her daughters, Theresa (Ron Truitt), Lisa Strawser (Greg) of Rural Valley and Bobbi Jo Mikeska of Kittanning; her grandchildren, Amy Hawk (Matt) of Kittanning, Jessica Krug (Adam) of Brockway, Erika Wise (Tom) of Kittanning, Marissa Kirkland of Ford City, Nathan, Catherine Mikeska of Summersville, SC, Nicole Mikeska of Kittanning and Natasha Stewart (Scott) of Kittanning; her great grandchildren, Madison, Myliea Anderson, Alex Shaffer, Cameron, Chelyce Wiles, Bella Campbell, Josie Kidder, Ella Dykes, RJ Kirkland, Easton Dykes, Everlee Krug, Elianna, Grexton Mikeska and Angelina Hays; her siblings, Dave McAfoos (Darleen), Pete McAfoos (Patty), Mary Shenk and Alice Lynn; and her sister-in-law Evalene Lasher. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
