He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard O. Smeltzer and Helen Leena Smeltzer (Myer); and his siblings, Earl, Delbert Smeltzer and Janet Cameron.
He is survived by: his siblings, Helen Galbraith of New Bethlehem, Irene Galbraith of New Bethlehem, Kenneth Smeltzer (Beverly) of Rayburn Township, Roger Smeltzer (Cathy) of Kittanning and Donald Smeltzer (Sue) of Worthington.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Welch Funeral Service (1032 4th Ave, Ford City, PA 16226). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
