She was predeceased by : her parents, Donald F. Mays and Ruth A. Bell Mays; her husband Leland "Sam" B. Black; her parents-in-law, John D. and Marion Black (Baker); her sisters, Nancy Parks and Lois LaForme; her in-laws, James Black, John Black, Emma Grace Fulton, Virginia Servey, Betty Traister and Ed Black; and her close friend Carole Barrett.
She is survived by : her children, Cindy L. Slagle (John) of Shippenville, PA, Larry A. Black (Patty) of Knox, PA and David B. Black (Marla) of Pulaski, TN; her grandchildren, Michael Black (Haylee) of State College, PA, Kylee Burns (Scott) of Knox, PA, Andrew Black of Knox, PA, Davy Black (Dawn) of Falls Creek, PA, Dawn Keighley (Tim) of Strattanville, PA, Nicholas Black (Monique) of Prattville, AL and Alicia Myers (Zack) of Knox, PA; her great grandchildren, Parker, Ella Grace, Carsyn Black, Kaden, Kolten, Camden Ensminger, Tyler, Conner Burns, Bentley Black, Savannah Shick, Trenton (Mabelle), Isaac Keighley, Kylie Mumford and Easton Myers; her brother Dana Mays of Knox, PA; her in-laws, Harriet "Hatty" Sliker and Glenn LaForme; and her nephew Matthew LaForme. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
