He is survived by: his mother Violet May Whitling Best of Knox; his sons, Lawrence (LJ) and Matthew Clark (Faith Baker) of Franklin; and his siblings, Lamont Best (Luci) of Jacksonville, AR, Lowel Best of Littlerock, AR, Sharon Best Nye (Roger) of Canal Winchester, OH, Julie A Best Masteroianni (late Celestor "Mac") of Wallingford, KY and Cindy L Best McGuire (Patrick) of Auburn, AL. He is also survived by three grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
