He was predeceased by: his parents, Reuben Miles Weeter and Lois Mae Switzer Weeter; his grandson Hunter; and his sisters, Shirley Gruber and June Frye.
He is survived by: his wife Ellen May Smith; his son Kalen Weeter (Tammy) of Little River; his grandchildren, Deven Carroll (A. J.) of Pittsburgh and Peyton Corona of Louisville; and his sister Sally Mason (John) of Knox. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
