It is with sadness that the passing of Thomas Shoup of Knox, Pennsylvania is shared. Thomas, born on April 29, 1948, passed away on August 31, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Shoup and Avanell Weller Shoup; his siblings, Frank Shoup and Angela Carrozza; and his siblings-in-law, Elaine Shoup, Mary Shoup, Dean Rhoads and Dale Matson.
He is survived by: his wife Cathy; his daughter Stacey Deamer (Brandon) of Simpsonville; his grandchildren, Knox and Levi; his stepsons, Charles W. Jordan IV of Butler and Thomas Jordan (Sielby) of Jacksonville, Florida.; his siblings, Bonnie Rhoads of Marienville, James Shoup (Charlotte) of Columbia, Lenore Matson of Clarion, Leland Shoup (Julie) of Shippenville, Merrill Shoup of Clarion, Jerry Shoup (Cheryl) of Seneca and Susan Moyer (Bill) of Knightdale; and his brother-in-law Al Carrozza of Raeford. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the William N. Rupert Mortuary (430 Mendenhall Ave, Knox, PA 16232). The military honors was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
