He was predeceased by: his mother Geraldine Barris; his son Michael Barris; and his sisters, Leona Brown and Doris Jean Dolby. He is survived by: his spouse Jean Turner; his children, David Barris (Marilyn) of Knox, Edward Barris of Williamsport and Christine Ashbaugh (Kevin) of Knox; his daughter-in-law Gina Barris of St. Petersburg; his grandchildren, Heather Knight (Robbie) of Knox, Branden Barris (Carter) of Texas, Abigail Barris of Clarion and Reagan Ashbaugh of Knox; his great grandchildren, Cyllus Barris of Williamsport, Brody, Ryleigh Knight of Knox, Mason and Maverick Barris of Texas; and his sisters, Marie Altman of Zanesville, OH, Janet Aaron of Knox and Linda Smith of Florida. He is also survived by three step grandchildren.
