He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank "Geene" Pelligrene and Julia Pelligrene (Hawrylak); his granddaughter Frankie Pelligrene; his brother-in-law Dennis "Butch" Sainato; and his parents-in-law, Louis and Helen Sainato.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Pelligrene (Sainato); his children, Jennifer Pelligrene of Ellwood City and Derek (Jen Pelligrene) of North Carolina; his grandchildren, Molly Pelligrene and Leland Pelligrene; his sister Helen Lindsay (Ron) of Koppel; and his siblings-in-law, Donna Sainato of Boston and Jeff Sainato (Mary) of Ellwood City. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
