She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur B. Henry and Grace Garris Henry; her sister Marlene McMurray of Franklin; and her brothers-in-law, John McMurray and Mack McCleary.
She is survived by: her husband William "Bill" Shaner; her children, Diane McMunn (David) of Knox, Richard Shaner (Sue) of Knox, David Shaner of Topsfield, MA and Shawn Shaner (Amy) of Slippery Rock; her grandchildren, Jessica Morphy (Bryan) of Erie, Kyle McMunn (Brittany) of Wapakoneta, OH, Corey Shaner (Kristen) of Canfield, OH, Cody Shaner (Tini) of Bellefonte, Chelsey Porterfield (Christian) of Grove City, Jonathan Shaner of Middleton, MA, Taylor Craig (Ian) of Slippery Rock and Makenna Shaner of Butler; and her sister Rose McCleary of Knox. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
