He was predeceased by: his parents, James Britt and Margaret Britt (Muldowney); and his siblings, Edward Muldowney McCarthy, James Britt, William Britt, Paul Britt, Richard Britt, Janet Susnoski, Marilyn Bolesta, Lillian Matty, Mary Louise Olear and Lorraine McAndrew.
He is survived by: his wife Maureen P. Austic; his children, James Britt (Lorraine) of Mount Carmel and Jennifer Breault (Jeffrey) of Florida; his grandchildren, Chelsea Maulden (Trey), Jason Breault, Cameron Britt (Abby), Lily Britt and Emily Britt; his great grandchildren, Oliver Maulden and Henry Maulden; his sisters, Harriet Koos (Robert) of Ocean City, MD and Eileen Johnson (Ralph) of Taylorsville; and his sisters-in-law, Eloise Britt of Ashland and Rita Lenza (Roy) of Kulpmont. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
