She was predeceased by: her parents, Wade Mains and Cecilia Mains (Tarlecky); her husband Paul W. Ely; her siblings, Stella McIntire and Jerry Shihinski; and her pets, Leo and George.
She is survived by: her siblings, Mary Menapace of Kulpmont, James Mains (Ann), Elaine Rivera (Gus), Kevin Mains (Missy) of Shamokin and Karen Womer (Dave) of Kulpmont; and her pets, Hazel and Kitty. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, March 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Ss Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, to honor Cecilia's love of animals, especially cats, memorial contributions may be made to the animal charity of your choice.
