He is survived by: his wife Barbara E. Smink; his children, Bridget Smink and William Smink, Jr.; his grandchildren, Joshua Minder, Casey Skocik (Edward) and Erin Smink; and his siblings, Jack Smink, Norma Carl and Ronald Smink. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
