He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold A. Bortz and Thelma M. Bortz (Fenstermaker). He is survived by: his pets, Ralph and Sparky; his wife Carol S. Bortz (Eisenhard); his children, Bruce H. II (Kai) of Mertztown, Jonathon A. (Jessica) of Topton, Candy L. Bortz of Tobyhanna, Diana J. (Jeremy Buchanan) of New Boston, TX and Kimberley M. (late Vernon Smith) of Macungie; his grandchildren, Kade, Kyle, Cali, Kaitlin, Cassi, Kohde, Allyssa, Lacie and Kayleigh; and his great grandchildren, Kaidyn and Meadow.
