Bowes; his children, Danielle Russell of Des Moines, Amanda Hollinger (Matthew) of Des Moines, Joshua Russell of Kutztown, PA and Carson Russell of Kutztown, PA; his siblings-in-law, Fred and Ruth Bowes of Boone; and his siblings, James Russell (Cheryl) of Boone, Randy Russell of Boone and Cheryll Schell (Matt) of Roland.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to Trinity Lutheran Church in Boone.
