Though Kathleen may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Masterson and Matilda G. Dunn Masterson; and her husband Thomas J. "Digsy" Richards. She is survived by: her children, Ann M. Gubitose (Glen) and Thomas J. Richards, Jr. (Kathleen); and her grandchildren, Kyle Richards and Sarah Richards. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cherished friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Saint Maria Goretti Roman Catholic Parish (42 Redwood Dr, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702). A rosary will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Parish Rosary Guild of St. Maria Gorett (42 Redwood Dr, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Maria Goretti Church (42 Redwood Dr, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702). A burial will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at the Saint Mary's Roman Catholic Cemetery (1594 S Main St, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18706).
