He was predeceased by: his parents, Bruno Herold and Mabel Herold (Barnes); his brother George Herold; and his niece Christine Fotusky Soja. He is survived by: his daughters, Wendy Kramer (Eric) of Hawley, Tina Bayly (John Young) of Bethany and Jessica Schwab (Zach Jones) of South Canaan; his granddaughters, Chloe Kramer of Hawley, Rachael and Rosalyn Bayly of Beach Lake; his sisters, Maryann Fotusky of Waymart and Rosemary Posdon of Honesdale; and his siblings' children, George Herold, Karen Perera, Patricia Fotusky, Maryann Rosler, Joseph Posdon III and Mark Posdon.
