He was predeceased by: his parents, Hyman Harry and Mildred Wakefield Friedman. He is survived by: his wife Karen Friedman; his daughters, Jennifer Friedman (Kevin Woodward) and Wendy Friedman (Scott Williams); his stepchildren, Wendy Griffin (Eric Griffin) and Edward Savoy; his grandchild Gibson Friedman (Oliver Williams); and his stepgrandchildren, Genevieve, Liam, Lyra and Nessa Griffin.

The family requests no flowers be sent, as it will be a private service.
