It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel J. Makay of Lake City, Pennsylvania, born in Erie, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 1, 2023, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his father John Makay. He is survived by : his mother Susanne Wonner Makay; his children, Amanda Maicki (Don) and Camdon Makay (Emily); his grandchildren, Bryson, Carson Maicki and Aria Makay; his sisters, Nancy Makay (Russ) and Shelly Bender (Kelly); his nephews, Lucas and Mason Bender; his niece Karly Bender; and his friends, Tad Schnaufer, Larry Hudacky, Hasko Resulovic and Laurie Stewart.
