Evelyn L. Hoops Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Evelyn L. Hoops of Lake Como, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 9, 2026 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Evelyn L. Hoops to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nelson Whitmore and Gertrude Whitmore (Weber); her former husband John E Gordon; her husband William Hoops; her grandson Christopher Robinson; and her siblings, Florence Mead, Dona Curtis, Leona Kader, Esther Thoma and Dennis Whitmore.
She is survived by: her siblings, Dale Whitmore, Lugene Williams (Gary) and Nelson'Hank' Whitmore (Jean); and her sister-in-law Mary Whitmore. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
