She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald J. Allan and Agnes Powers Allan; and her siblings, Ted Allen, Frank Allan, Joseph Christopher "Chrissy" Allan, J. Austin Allan and Isabel Cross.

She is survived by: her husband William Compton; her siblings, Mary Catherine Dailey (George) and Donald J. Allan; and her mother-in-law Betty H. Compton. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
