Urban of Lampeter, Pennsylvania, born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 17, 2024 at the age of 78. He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, George Urban, Sr. and Alma Urban (Getz); his wife Vickie J. Urban (Markley); his sons, Mark Urban of Ephrata and Matthew Urban (Jesse) of Columbia; his stepchildren, Robert E. Sheaffer, Jr. (Amy) of Pequea, Lisa Leamy of Paradise and Dorothy Johnson of Quarryville; his pet Bandit; and his siblings, George Urban, Jr. (Maggie), Bob Urban (Wanda), Bill Urban (Fran), Jean Kaufman (John), Cecelia Gillenwater (Dave), Richard Urban and Arlene Rittenhouse. He was also cherished by 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 22nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory (414 E King St, Lancaster, PA 17602).
