Derr, Sr.; her children, Hiroshi Nakamura (Akemi), Trudy Mika Root (Harold III), Stephanie Bailey (Fred Odell) and Robert L. Derr, Jr.; her grandchildren, Harold Root IV, Meka Eckert (Timothy), Aurora, Bryanah Bailey and Eri Nakamura-Matsui (Hiroshi); her great grandchildren, Edward Eckert and Hinata Matsui; and her siblings, Takeyuki Nakamura, Mariko Nagata, Misuzu Okamoto and Mitoshi Fukunaga.
