With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Benjamin Foster Riggs Sr. of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 18, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Samuel and Mabel; his wife Carol B. Riggs; his children, Benjamin Riggs, Jr. (Lisa), Kimberly Riggs Westcott (Christian) and Paul S. Riggs (Renee); his grandchildren, Samuel, Connor, Emma, Lauren, Diana and Andrew; and his sisters, Esther Ferrera, Eleanor Whitmore and Florence Murphy. He was also cherished by extended family members and many friends.
