She was predeceased by: her parents, David S. Bender and Lizzie Eichelberger Bender; her husband J. Melvin Stauffer; and her children, J. Mervin Stauffer, Carolyn and Barbara Ann.
She is survived by: her daughters, Nancy L. Fuhrman of Coatesville and Phyllis S. (Michael Schmit) of San Jose, CA; her sister Ruth Anne Ginder of Landisville; her daughter-in-law Shelley Stauffer of Kentucky; and her caregiver Mim Leaman. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, one great granddaughter.
