Betty leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Betty’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Betty will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her husband George W. "Bill" Small; and her mother Betty. She is survived by: her daughters, Sara E. Hodge (Ian G. Hodge, Jr.) and Martha S. Small (Douglas Heuser); her granddaughters, Blair Hodge Pendley (William P. Pendley III) and Julia Stuart Hodge; and her great grandchildren, Ava, Cora, Hannah, Perry and Ian Pendley.
She was also a member of the Sedgeley Club of Philadelphia, the Children's Aid Society of PA, Emergency Aid of PA Foundation and a member of First Presbyterian Church of Lancaster.
