It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dale Wayne Blounts of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, born in Ridley Park, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 7, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley L. Blounts and Leona M. Blounts (Headley); his son-in-law Michael George Carpenter; his grandson Michael Jason Carpenter; and his great grandchild Jameson Carpenter.
He is survived by: his daughters, Melissa Carpenter of South Dakota and Sunshine Petrancosta (Anthony) of Kentucky; his grandchildren, Tom, Joe, Alisha, Arianna and Zach; and his siblings, Laurene Simmons of Parkesburg, Patricia Cordivano (Arthur) of West Grove and Stanley Blounts, Jr. of Gap, Pennsylvania.. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, two nieces and four nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Willow Tree Hospice Care at 616 E. Cypress Street, Kennett Square, Pa 19348.
