David Wilbur Buckwalter Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David Wilbur Buckwalter of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 9, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Anna Lois Buckwalter (Housman); his parents, Jay Quentin, Sr. and Alta Buckwalter (McDonald); his son Donald Buckwalter; his grandson Gregory Schmitt; and his great grandchild Evelyn Louise Miller.
He is survived by: his daughters, Deborah Pedersen, Ann Longenecker and Barbara (Bradford Schmitt); his grandchildren, Sarah, Lael, Andrew, Jacob, Daniel, Emily, Nicole and Hannah; and his siblings, Harold (Dolores Buckwalter) of Lititz, Eugene (Mary Ellen Buckwalter) of Lititz, Fran (Roy Sauder Lititz) of Manheim, Mary Lou (Merv Sauder) of Manheim and Sue Cassel of Manheim. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the East Petersburg Mennonite Cemetery (6279 Main St, East Petersburg, PA 17520).
