He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Mummert and Earline Mummert (Anderson); and his sister Geraldine Esbenshade. He is survived by: his niece Diane Kurtz of Lancaster; his great-nephews, Brandon Kurtz and Logan Kurtz (Taylor); his nephew Joseph Esbenshade Jr. (Brenda) of Tucson, AZ; and his great-nephews, Kevin Esbenshade (Wendy) and Joseph Esbanshade III (Autumn).
