She was predeceased by: her husband Jim Gilbert; and her granddaughter Jessica Wood. She is survived by: her children, Donald Wood (Donna) and Rhonda Schreck (David); her stepchildren, Jimmy Gilbert (Melissa), Brenda Threlkeld (Russ) and Dennis Gilbert; and her siblings, Patti (Tony) and Douglas Bunch Jr. Affectionately. She is also survived by her 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
