She was predeceased by: her husband Lawrence C. Spence; her parents, Earl Hagelgans and Dorothy E. Crawford Hagelgans; and her grandsons, Johnny Legieko and Joshua Weidman.

She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Legieko and Robin Weidman (Douglas).
