She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Robert H. Ritter; her parents, Claude Herr and Dorothy Herr; her sisters, Paula, Zoe and Joann; her children, Matthew Ritter and Claudia Ritter (Karen Kline); her sister Charlotte Drennen (Richard Jr.); her siblings' children, Jessica Jackson and Richard Drennen; and her cousins, Lynn Arnold, Glenn Walz and Marion Eckman.

Contributions may be made in her memory to Otterbein United Methodist Church.
