We bid farewell to Elsie Spayd of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 27, 2025 at the age of 83. Elsie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles W. Harnish and Alberta Feldser Harnish; her husband Robert L. Spayd, Jr.; and her brothers, Charles W., Jr. and James D. Harnish.

She is survived by: her friend Christine A. (David Henise) of Willow Street; her siblings, Martin C. Harnish of Lancaster, Stephen (Shelly Harnish) of Myrtle Beach, Charlotte (Gary Elliott) of Myrtle Beach, Sandy (John Lloyd) of Clinton and Pauline (James Burrus) of Houston; and her stepchildren, Robert, Jr. (Denise Spayd) of Lancaster, Kenneth (Debra Spayd) of Lumber Bridge, Michael (Charlene Spayd) of Mountville, Jeffrey (Sue Spayd) of Annville and Stephanie (William Alexander) of East Petersburg. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Melanie B. Scheid Funeral Directors & Cremation Services (317 E Orange St, Lancaster, PA 17602). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
