She was predeceased by: her husband I. Richard McCarty; her parents, Simon Snyder Rineer and Mildred Ann Rineer (Boyd); her daughter Terry Hostetter; and her grandson Joshua Phipps.
She is survived by: her children, Donald Phipps (Joanne) of Millerton, PA, Melody Miller (Charles) of Lancaster, PA and Tim McCarty (Toni) of New Holland, PA; her son-in-law John Hostetter of Ephrata, PA.; her grandchildren, Jedidiah Phipps (Monica), Kristopher Miller (Stephanie), Sara Luongo (Andrew), Alicia Culton (Danny), Melissa Beiler, Jonathan Beiler (Brittany Copenhaver), Jack McCarty, Grace McCarty, William Thomas and Christopher Thomas; and her brothers, Joe Rineer of Mt. Joy and Bob Rineer (Donna) of Ephrata. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
