He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Clare and Susanna Clare (Burkhart); and his siblings, Esther, Elizabeth, Alma, Nora, Harold and John.
He is survived by: his wife Elmira J. Clare (Campbell); his children, Diane (Mark Meyer) of Willow Street and Ray (Jill) of New Danville; his grandchildren, Cortney Hill, Brandon Clare and Melissa Markley; his great grandchildren, Natalie, Andrea, Wyatt, Lily Anna, Lexi and Caleb; and his brother Clyde Clare.
