It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances H. Ackerson in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 29, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lawrence Harry and Margaret Harry; her husband David J. Ackerson; her brother Larry Harry; her children, Margaret Geibel (Paul Geibel) of San Antonio, TX and Scott Ackerson (Elisabeth Ackerson) of Easton, MD; her grandchildren, Meghan, Chris, Rebecca, Ryan, David, Sarah and John; and her great grandchildren, Sofia, Margaux, Devin, Olivia, Everly, David, Lucca and Shepard. She was also cherished by her parents, aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Main Chapel of the United States Naval Academy. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Willow Valley Communities (300 Willow Valley Lakes Dr, Willow Street, PA 17584).
