He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry F. Brubaker and Nora Hershey Brubaker; his sons, Randall Cary and Stephen Craig; and his siblings, Harold, Dwight, Nancy MacKilligan and Sara Lowery.
He is survived by: his wife Julia "Judy" Graybill Brubaker; his daughter Tamala (Michael Derus); his grandchildren, Rev. Adam Derus (Karis), Alexander Derus (Cristy) and Julia (Matthew Miklas); his sister Dolores Buckwalter (Harold Buckwalter); and his daughter-in-law Bobbye (Ben Stayer). He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made in Jere's memory to the Calvary Church Benevolent Fund.
