She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellen J. Todd Sheaffer and Harry E. Sheaffer; her former husband Clair Benn; her husband Robert C. Brinkman; her sons, Lewis and Edgar Benn; her brothers, Charles and Robert Sheaffer; and her son-in-law Gerald Gochnauer.
She is survived by: her daughters, Elaine Hessen of Lititz and Louise Gochnauer of Lititz. She is also survived by her six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, her three nieces and her nephew.
