She was predeceased by: her parents, George Hoover and Mary Hoover (Manasek); her significant other Albert W. Gillis, Jr.; her son Michael; and her brother George.
She is survived by: her son Jeremiah McCarthy; her sister Mary Schaefer; her nieces, Darlene Mandel (Jack) and Anna Colasante (Michael); her stepdaughters, Lisa Renninger (Dave) and Lori Smith (Chris); and her close friend Gladys. She is also survived by nieces and nephews; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
