She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton H. Bemis and Clara E. Bemis (Slicer); her husband William H. "Bill" Helms; and her son Brian S. Helms. She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon Lewis of Lancaster and Kimberly L. Groff (Bob) of Lancaster. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
