He was predeceased by: his parents, Isadore Hornick and Mary Newland Hornick; and his wife Beverly Hornick. He is survived by: his sons, Terry Hornick of Columbia, Rich (Heather Hornick) of Columbia and Dan (Kim Hornick) of Marietta; and his granddaughters, Lakyn, Peighton, Isabella and Emma. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
