He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter H. Clark, Sr. and Jessie M. Rose (Hauck); his son Russell E. Clark; and his brother Walter Clarke, Jr.. He is survived by: his daughter Tamara L. Clark of Manheim; and his sibling's children, Mark Clarke (Atsuko) of Middletown, Bruce Clarke and Valerie Stricker (Greg) of Hummelstown.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in James's name to Pennsylvania Wounded Warriors, Inc. 1013 Mumma Road suite 203, Wormleysburg, PA 17043.
