He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Edward Seats and Laura Seats (Manley); and his brothers, Robert and David Seats. He is survived by: his stepmother Betty Seats; his wife Joyce Seats (Aukamp); and his uncle Neil Seats of Peach Bottom. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice and Community Care, P.O. Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604.
