With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan E. Horn of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, born in Mount Joy, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 10, 2023. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joan E. Horn to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Showalter and Anna Showalter (Leibfried); and her husband Donald L. Horn. She is survived by: her daughter Sharon (Cecil Sudbrack); her grandsons, Jonathan and Andrew Sudbrack of New Holland; her daughter Lisa (Stephen Butz); her granddaughter Alexandra Butz of Philadelphia; her son Brian Horn (Rita Rauch); and her granddaughters, Emily, Rachel and Nicole Horn of Broomall.
In lieu of flowers, and in gratitude for the loving care the nurses, aides and staff provided to Joan, contributions in Joan's memory may be made to Abbeyville Resident Council Fund, at Abbeyville Skilled Nursing & Rehab Center, 100 Abbeyville Rd, Lancaster, PA 17603.
