Joann S. Yoder Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 30, 2025, at the age of 87, Joann S. Yoder (Lancaster, Pennsylvania) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joann S. Yoder to pay them a last tribute.
As we bid Joann farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Joann is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sheldon Tout and Anna Mattern Sullenberger; her son Curt R. Hocke; and her brother Sheldon "Butch" Tout. She is survived by: her husband Lynn David Yoder; her daughter Cheri A. (David M. Henry) of Marticville; and her grandson Joshua Cruz. She is also survived by many great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Freedom Life Church (789 Gap Newport Pike, Atglen, PA 19310). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Byerland Church Cemetery (931 Byerland Church Rd, Willow Street, PA 17584).
