In loving memory of Joanne S. Yoder (Lancaster, Pennsylvania), who departed this world on October 30, 2025 at the age of 87. Joanne leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. As we bid adieu to Joanne's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Joanne has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sheldon Tout and Anna Mattern Sullenberger; her son Curt R. Hocke; and her brother Sheldon "Butch" Tout. She is survived by: her husband Lynn David Yoder; her daughter Cheri A. (David M. Henry) of Marticville; and her grandson Joshua Cruz. She is also survived by many great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Freedom Life Church (789 Gap Newport Pike, Atglen, PA 19310). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Byerland Church Cemetery (931 Byerland Church Rd, Willow Street, PA 17584).
