He was predeceased by: his parents, Housberto Sandell and Obdulia Caraballo. He is survived by: his siblings, Gloria Maria Sandell of Puerto Rico, Wilberto Sandell of Lancaster, Eduardo Sandell of South Carolina and Wilfredo Sandell of Lancaster. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
